Partner Training

In person 1-on-1 training is the single most effective way to get results. The strength and conditioning coaches at Magma Strength Systems commitment to high quality purposeful sessions day-in and day-out cannot be matched. These sessions are 1-hour in length with the coach, with the client completing 5-10 minutes of the respective warm-up and cool-down outside of session time ensuring that time spent with the coach will be of maximum value and overall benefit to the client. We have a vast variety of 1-on-1 clients at Magma Strength Systems in terms of goals, training experience, training ability, profession, and age. Each client has an individual program that is custom-built entirely to the client.

Partner Training at Magma Strength Systems is for likeminded individuals who want to push each other during the sessions. Similar to 1-on-1 training, sessions are 1-hour in length with the coach, with the client completing 5-10 minutes of the respective warm-up and cool-down outside of session time ensuring that time spent with the coach will be of maximum value and overall benefit to the clients. This can be of higher importance when working with two people so that goals of the workout and modifications can be made early and affectively. The only similarity for our partner training clients is their commitment to themselves and their partners during the sessions. More often than not you and your partner will have different goals and will be running different programs, so the encouragement and motivation is more than doubled when you see the effort and receive encouragement from your partner on the front lines with you

Group training is a fantastic way to meet new people and learn new skills. At Magma Strength Systems we have groups of 3-5, as well as 6+. These sessions are a jam packed and well-constructed hour that will combine compound movements, aerobic activity, flexibility, strength, and mentally stimulating exercises. It is important for each group member to arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete the necessary warm-up beforehand and attend the walkthrough of the workout. A typical group session will have 3 different tiers of difficulty - beginner, experienced, and advanced. The program will be the same for each group including different phase emphasis on strength, muscle gain, endurance, general fitness in a safe and effective manner. There are group options for sport specific training methods such as hockey, Olympic weightlifting, and powerlifting that occur on a request basis.

The programming clients for Magma Strength Systems are required to have an in-person assessment to guarantee that the programming is fitted to the client’s fitness abilities and equipment availability. Workouts are generally released either in 1-week or 4-week blocks allowing clients to plan their week(s) accordingly and also request for changes and/or substitutes in a timely manner if needed.
